Clutch Whey Protein Donuts

Oh, that little round circle glazed with love is always dancing in the back of my mind while prepping for a show! Creating healthy alternatives to some of my favorite guilty pleasures always feels like a WIN in itself, sacrifice does not have to come with flavor. Clutch Whey Protein donuts taste so rich and fluffy you will definitely feel like you’re cheating on your diet plan with every bite! Most protein powders leave you expecting a consistency to that of a piece of cardboard but it’s the secret of egg whites that really take it to a whole new level! These bites of heaven are perfect for a post-workout snack to refuel your body without sacrificing nutrition.

Yield- 8 Donuts - 4.5g net carbs each)  - Gluten Free -

Ingredients:

1/2 cup - Almond Flour

3 - Eggs, separated

1/4 Tsp - Salt

1/4 Tsp - Baking Powder

1 Tsp - Vanilla

1/4 Tsp - Cinnamon

2 Tbsp - Pure Cocoa Powder

1/2 tsp - Stevia

2 Tbsp - Butter, melted

2 Tbsp - Almond Milk

2 Scoops - Axis Labs Clutch Chocolate Whey Protein (Substitute any Clutch Flavor)

Method of Gains:

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Whip egg whites until they have STIFF PEAKS.

  3. Combine the Egg Yolks, Stevia, and butter in another bowl and whisk until well combined.

  4. Combine all dry ingredients together and mix well.

  5. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the whipped egg whites (REALLY GENTLY).

  6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet and combine.

  7. Spray pans and fill the donut pan ¾ of the way full on each mold.

  8. Bake for 12- 15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  9. In a separate bowl, combine Clutch Whey Protein powder and Almond Milk until it is thick.

  10. Pour the mixture over the donuts when they have cooled down a bit or you can use as a dipping sauce.

  11. Enjoy your SIN-less treats!
