A simple tool to get you lean!

It is that time of year again.  The time where things start to warm up and everyone is starting to wonder how they are going to look in less clothes.  T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, short shorts, bikinis and more are about to be dug up and put to the test.  We all want to look good and need every edge because most of the time we didn't really put the work in we should have during the first 3 months of the year.  Some might pursue a crazy diet or try endless hours at the gym to shred up but I have a very simple tool that will help to get you lean!   diet detective walk for your health This tool is so simple and all you have to do is step more.  Say what?  Yeah, you heard me right, step more!  If you have a smart phone that you keep in your pocket, chances are you can track your steps with that smart phone and it can be as simple as that!  I use an app called Pacer to track my steps and that is just one of many.  So how do steps get you lean?  Well, the gym was really created to just get people to move more and it provides a formal place to do it.  Burning calories really can be as simple as moving more. You see, if you are a gym rat but spend all day sitting at a desk and/or watching Netflix, you may not even burn as many calories as the guy/gal that is walking constantly during the day.   texting So how much do you need to get lean?  Here is what I want you to do, start with tracking your steps and make certain that you get 10,000 steps per day every day in your first week.  During your second week you will commit to 15,000 steps and make CERTAIN you get there every day. And finally, during your third and fourth week you will commit to 20,000 steps per day and make it a top priority to get there.  With any kind of sound nutrition plan, this should help you to drop some unwanted fat and prepare for a warm embrace of less clothing!
